# Get started with Rekkeh: create your account and first invite
> Sign up for Rekkeh's 14-day free trial with Google or email, add your facility, confirm your email, and create your first visitor invite in minutes.
Create your Rekkeh account, set up your first facility, and issue your first visitor invite. Rekkeh is a physical access control and visitor management platform that guides you through invitation, verification, the access decision, and the record. Start with a 14-day free trial (no card required) and sign up with Google or email.
Start from rekkeh.com and choose **Get started** or **Start now**. You land on a three-step onboarding flow (Step 1 of 3) that creates your account, adds your first facility, and starts your trial.
1. Choose **Sign up with Google**, or continue with email and fill in **First name**, **Last name**, **Work email**, **Password**, and **Confirm password**. Your password must be at least 10 characters.
2. With Google, your name and email fill in automatically and the password fields disappear. Choose **Use a different email** to switch back to email and password.
3. Click **Continue**.
Step 2 (Your facility) sets up the facility your trial applies to. One facility is included on the free trial; add more anytime from Settings.
1. Enter the **Community / facility name**.
2. Select **Country** (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, or Other), then enter **City** and **Street address**.
3. Select **Facility type** and **Your role**.
4. **Contact phone** is optional. It is used for account recovery and facility contact, and you can add it later in Settings.
5. Click **Continue**.
Step 3 (Review and start) confirms your details and starts your trial the moment you create the account.
1. Review the Account and Facility details, and use **Edit** to change anything.
2. Optionally expand **A bit more about you** to add how you heard about us and a referral code.
3. Check the consent box agreeing to the privacy policy and terms of service.
4. Click **Create free account**.
How you continue after creating the account depends on your sign-in method.
* **Email and password:** you land on **Confirm your email**. Your 14-day free trial starts once your email is confirmed. Open the confirmation link we sent to your email. You cannot sign in until you do. Use **Resend confirmation** if the email does not arrive, then **Go to sign in**.
* **Google:** you are signed in immediately and land on your dashboard.
Your dashboard is where you run facility workflows. As the initial manager of your new organization you have full access to the enabled modules for your facility. Your dashboard greets you by name and shows live operations, a live snapshot of current access and occupancy, an activity feed, and help and support.
The first operational step is to issue a visitor invite (the invitation step of the access workflow). Creating an invite authorizes a visit; it does not check the visitor in.
1. On the dashboard, choose **Register visitor or issue invite**. This opens **Visitor passes**.
2. Click **New invite** to open **Create invite**.
3. Enter **Guest name** and **Guest phone**, then choose a **Host**. Host defaults to you; search to assign a resident or staff host.
4. Optionally add **Guest email** (we email the gate OTP to the guest when it is provided), **Purpose**, and **Valid for** (choose 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days).
5. Click **Create invite**.
The modal closes, the invite list refreshes, and a success message confirms the invite was created.
