# Rekkeh Per-Gate Kiosk Settings Reference for Admins

> Per-gate Rekkeh kiosk settings reference covering timeouts, language, appearance, after-registration cards, device health states, and offline behaviour.

Kiosk settings are configured per gate from **Gates > Kiosk**, not from Settings, and each gate has its own modal with the controls below.

## Per-gate kiosk settings

Open **Gates** in the dashboard, select **Kiosk** for the gate you want to configure, and set the controls in the **Kiosk - Gate name** modal.

An invalid or empty timeout value falls back to the default for that control. Select **Save settings** to apply the configuration; opening the kiosk URL alone does not save kiosk settings.

## After-registration cards

The after-registration editor lets you add cards visitors see once registration is done. You can add **Instructions**, **Wi-Fi**, and **Note** cards, and reorder or remove them. The kiosk shows up to six cards. At the limit the UI displays "Up to 6 cards can be shown after check-in." With no cards added, it shows "No cards yet. Add instructions or Wi-Fi for visitors to see when registration is done."

## Device health

The device health section lists each paired device with one of these states: **Online**, **Stale**, **Awaiting pair**, **Revoked**, or **Offline**. To revoke an active device, select **Revoke**, confirm in the "Revoke this tablet?" dialog with **Revoke device**. A revoked device must pair again before it can run as a kiosk.

## Visit types

Visit types are configured separately under **Settings > Visit types** (`/settings/visitor-types`). The kiosk modal states "Photo, approval, and which visit types appear are set under Visit types." Visit types can be shown or hidden from the kiosk and define host requirements, approval, photo requirements, and pass length.

## Offline behaviour

The kiosk queues registrations when the connection drops. It shows "You are offline. Registrations will queue until connection returns." and catches up once the connection is restored.
