Recurring vendor passes
A recurring vendor pass is for vendors, artisans, or delivery drivers who visit on a regular schedule. The pass is created when a resident submits a vendor request through the Resident app. How it works:- A resident submits a vendor request, specifying the vendor name, frequency, and reason for access.
- The request stays in a suspended state until estate management approves it.
- Once approved, the vendor receives their QR and OTP credentials.
- The pass is valid according to the frequency and validity rules set at approval, with a configurable maximum number of uses.
Vendor credentials are only issued after management approval. A suspended request cannot be used at the gate.
Contractor access
Contractor access is for construction workers, maintenance crews, or any long-term external staff who need a persistent profile in the system. Contractors are managed from the Contractors page in the admin portal. How it works:- An admin adds the contractor to the Contractors page, creating a persistent profile.
- The admin authorizes access with a validity period. The default is 60 days, but you can set any value from 1 to 365 days.
- The contractor receives credentials they can use at the gate during the authorized period.
- Renew: When a contractor’s access is about to expire, an admin can renew it. Renewal may require re-approval depending on your organization’s settings.
- Revoke: An admin can revoke contractor access at any time from the Contractors page.
- Expiry reminders: Rekkeh sends reminders before contractor access expires, so you can renew it without interruption.
