A gate in Rekkeh is any controlled entrance where a security decision happens. Facilities can configure three gate types: Standard for general vehicle or pedestrian traffic, Service for deliveries and contractors, and Pedestrian for foot traffic only. Gate officers perform their work in the Gate Ops mobile app. The app is organized into four tabs:
  • Home: active passes to verify, quick actions, and gate status
  • Access Log: a scrollable history of all entries, exits, and denials at the current gate
  • Security: incident reporting, emergency alerts, and patrol check-ins
  • Profile: officer details, shift summary, and app settings
Before verifying passes, an officer selects the gate they are assigned to and starts a shift. This ties every decision to a specific officer and time window. Rekkeh supports four verification methods at the gate:
  1. QR code scan from a phone or printed pass
  2. Manual pass lookup by name or phone number
  3. ID document verification against a pre-registered profile
  4. Supervisor override for exceptions
Gate Ops works online and offline. When connectivity is lost, the app queues verifications locally and syncs decisions, photos, and logs automatically once the connection returns. Every shift is logged with start time, end time, gate, and officer identity.
