In Rekkeh, access control means turning a verified identity into a clear allow or deny decision at your facility’s entrance. The unit of authorization is the access pass, which grants temporary or recurring permission to enter a specific gate or zone. Grant types include:
  • Visitor pass for invited guests
  • Resident pass for people who belong to the facility
  • Delivery pass for couriers and package drops
  • Event pass for scheduled occasions with guest lists
  • Contractor pass for service providers and maintenance crews
At the gate, the officer or kiosk scans the pass and the Access Control Engine evaluates it in real time. Several factors can block approval: missing identification documents, an expired pass, a policy flag on the individual, or a manual note left by another officer. When standard rules are not enough, a supervisor can issue an override. The override is logged with the supervisor’s identity, the reason, and the timestamp so the decision remains accountable. Every check-in and check-out is recorded automatically. The record includes the person’s identity, the gate, the verifying officer or device, the time, and the outcome. These entries feed directly into the Access Log and the broader Audit Trail.
